My focus has been on UX & design where it converges with technology through digital products & applications, navigating the complexity while maintaining a big picture view of the entire experience.
While designing & developing these experiences — as an individual contributor or as a manager of a team — I have found that it is extremely difficult to create world-class quality products without an extreme focus & clear vision from leaders at the top. I see many possible ways where I can improve & innovate, & while I try to influence where I can, it's harder to push quality upwards with little buy-in from leaders.
Truly, my passion for technology & design is matched with a passion for investing in the right people & building a well-motivated & skilled team. I love finding talented people, getting to know their strengths & weaknesses, placing them where they’ll flourish, & guiding them towards success.

In previous companies, I have been a people leader & it was a rewarding challenge. I was successful in it. I'm looking to countinue this journey & for an opportunity to lead a team, of any size, in this way again.
Resourcefulness & Curiosity
My resourcefulness & curiosity helps me quickly learn useful things & train others for success. I have experience in many different design tools & technologies — but I mainly design in Figma & code with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, & React to prototype. I'm also skilled in animation, illustration, content writing, photography/videography, & native mobile app development.
Life
I live near Dallas, TX with my two sons & my bengal cat, Xena. My pronouns are he/him/his. I've lived all over the US & I love traveling. Growing up, I went to about 15 different schools which is probably how I devloped my versatility & empathy.
I'm a creative at heart - I write songs, fictions, stories, & poetry. I love creating experiences in many different ways through design, video, photography - whatever I can find.
